BioKenzo Van Craeynest is born in Waregem (Belgium) on November 5th 1984. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Engineering: Computer Science in 2008 and is currently working towards a PhD. degree at Ghent University, Belgium, in the Department of Electronics and Information systems (ELIS) under the supervision of Lieven Eeckhout.In his spare time, he enjoys riding his bikes, he particulary likes hill climbing and tries to go for a (short) trip to the mountains at least once a year to conquer the likes of 'Le Mont Ventoux', 'Le galibier', 'Le Croix the fer', 'Die Edelweisspitze' and many more! Every once in a while he competes in the regional criterium race circuit and couple of times a year he's at the start of a time trial. When he's not riding, he tries to see a little of the world. He's been on an extended (5 week) travel through India and visited Paris (France), Vienna (Austria), New York (U.S.A), Rotterdam (Holland), Avignon (France), San Sebastian (Spain), Rome (Italy), Paphos (Cyprus)... |
