The aim of this scientific research network is to group several Flemish research teams on computer architecture in the broad sense (i.e. the interface between hardware and software) into a multidisciplinary group, and (i) to yearly organize a few high-quality international events with eminent speakers in the domain of computer architecture, (ii) to continue and strengthen the existing research collaboration at post doctoral level between the research teams.

This will further internationalize the Flemisch research on computer architecture, and lead to a better dissemination of the research results towards the companies. Eventually, it can lead to easier valorization of the research results, a rationalization of the research efforts in this domain, and to a stronger position as partner in internation research programs.

This scientific research network stays in close contact with the image processing systems research community.
