Mahmood Naderan-Tahan

Postdoc in computer engineering, Ghent University

Since 2020, I have been a postdoc researcher in the performance lab under the supervison of Prof. Lieven Eeckhout in the department of Electronics and Information Systems (ELIS) in Ghent University, Belgium. Prior to joining performance lab, I was an assitant professor from 2016 to 2020 in the department of computer engineerig in Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz (SCU), Iran. I received the PhD degree in 2016 in computer architecture from Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Iran supervised by Prof. Hamid Sarbazi-Azad.
My research interest is mainly computer architecture with the emphasis on performance analysis, HPC, benchmarking and GPGPU. I also enjoy researching on multi-core architectures, cache and memory sub-systems. More information about me can be found in the CV.

Projects

Currently, I am working on Cactus which is a GPU benchmarking suite with modern and real applications consisting of many kernels. For more information, please see the paper published in IISWC21 and the Github pages.
